Rooftop Concert

On February 25, 2024, hundreds of people, some spontaneous and others who knew in advance what would happen in the historic center of Bogotá, gathered at the intersection of Carrera 7th and Avenida Jiménez, looking towards the balcony of the El Tiempo Building of the University of Rosario. The Church of San Francisco bells announced that noon had arrived, so The Nowhere Boys began to recreate the historic moment when The Beatles played live together for the last time.
The public’s emotion was reflected in the choruses of iconic songs such as Twist and Shout and Don’t Let Me Down, which echoed through the streets of the Colombian capital. Thus, The Nowhere Boys celebrated George Harrison’s birthday, the 55th anniversary of the rooftop concert in London, and the 60th anniversary of the beginning of Beatlemania. In addition, the writer, announcer, and musical presenter Manolo Bellón promoted, accompanied, enjoyed, and praised the event.

El 25 de febrero de 2024, cientos de personas, unos espontáneos y otros que sabían de antemano lo que iba a ocurrir en pleno centro histórico de Bogotá, se aglomeraron en la intersección de la carrera séptima con Avenida Jiménez, mirando hacia el balcón del edificio El Tiempo de la Universidad del Rosario. Las campanas de la Iglesia de San Francisco avisaron que llegó el medio día, así The Nowhere Boys empezaron a recrear el histórico momento en que The Beatles tocaron en vivo por última vez juntos.
La emoción del público, que se reejó en los coros de las canciones icónicas como Twist and Shout y Don’t let me Down, retumbó en las calles de la capital colombiana. Así pues, The Nowhere Boys celebraron el cumpleaños de George Harrison, los 55 años del concierto del la azotea en Londres y los 60 años del inicio de la Beatlemanía. Además, el escritor, locutor y presentador musical Manolo Bellón promocionó, acompañó, disfrutó y elogió el evento.
